GOP Rep. Mike Johnson elected new House Speaker

More than three weeks after Kevin McCarthy was voted out, Republicans finally elected a new Speaker of the House, unanimously supporting Congressman Mike Johnson, of Louisiana, the party’s fourth nominee for the speakership.
