Fox Lake mother and stepfather charged with abusing 11-year-old boy for years
A Fox Lake couple was arrested after authorities said the boy suffered years of physical abuse in their home until he was finally able to make a daring escape. Prosecutors said the boy's mother repeatedly punched him, hit him with extension cords, and threatened to stab him, while his stepfather told him he deserved it.
