Do the Right Thing: How a nonprofit helps underprivileged young people
The nonprofit Do the Right Thing partners with police departments across the country, and gives out certificates of achievements to underprivileged young people who have improved their grades, stopped peers from bullying, or helped out in their community. The organization’s Palm Springs, California, chapter just awarded 95 scholarships, as Barry Petersen reports.
