Des Plaines officer did not activate body camera before fatally shooting suspect
The Des Plaines police officer who shot and killed a man while responding to a domestic disturbance call did not activate his body camera before the confrontation. Police said the man who was killed was threatening the officer with an electric hedge trimmer.
