City Council Finance committee backs $261 million mass settlement in 17 wrongful murder convcitions
The city of Chicago appears ready to pay out an eye-popping $260.8 million to 17 men framed for murder by notorious former Detective Reynaldo Guevara, after a unanimous vote by the City Council Finance Committee on Monday.
