"Bronzeville The Musical" recounts history of Chicago's "Black Metropolis"

The Bronzeville neighborhood, once known as Black Metropolis, is getting some well-earned love in special production called "Bronzeville The Musical." Producer, writer, and director Margaret Mahdi and lead actor Zion Ali shared how they turned Bronzeville’s long and storied history into a musical.
