Release denied for man accused of killing Oak Park, Illinois police detective
Jerell Thomas was brought into court in a wheelchair after he was shot in the leg by responding officers Friday last week—with a bandage on his head, one foot shoeless. He is accused of shooting and killing Oak Park police Detective Allan Reddins, as Sara Machi reports.
