As Chicago parking meter sale stalls, Ald. Ervin pushes for city to buy them back
After the Chicago City Council did not hold a vote on the sale of the city’s parking meters Monday, budget chair Ald. Jason Ervin said he wants the council to find a way to buy the meters.
Ervin joined CBS News Chicago to discuss whether the city buying the meters back is financially feasible, different ways the city could re-purchase the meters, and whether there’s enough council support to make it happen.
