Two males were killed in the most recent fatal shooting early Sunday in the West Side Austin neighborhood, police said. The two were driving in the 1600 block of North Cicero about 3:50 a.m. when a light-colored vehicle pulled up alongside and someone inside fired shots.
At 3:41 a.m., officers called to the 1700 block of St. Charles Road found Michael Brandon unresponsive on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from Maywood police.
About 4:50 p.m., one man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, police said. The men, 20 and 28, were standing outside in the 7800 block of South Drexel Avenue about 4:50 p.m. when they heard gunshots and saw two people running away.
