Troy Thompson, 27, was caught int he crossfire when 36-year-old Shamar McGee and 18-year-old Anthony Evans shot at each other at a tattoo party in Robbins.

The latest homicide happened about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. A 42-year-old man was shot in the chest in the 500 block of South Cicero and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died.
