Family and friends are mourning the loss of another Chicago teenager, shot to death last night on the city's South Side as police search for leads and a motive, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.
A 16-year-old boy was gunned down in the weekend's latest fatal shooting, which happened about 7:50 p.m. Sunday in the Rosemoor neighborhood on the Far South Side.
The 33-year-old was shot in the leg about 1:05 a.m. in the 900 block of North Central Park, police said. Investigators believe the shooting may have been domestic-related.
The latest homicide happened Thursday afternoon, when a man was shot to death in the South Shore neighborhood, police said.
U.S. Attorney David Capp said Eric Dillon was identified as the man seen on security video, shooting 60-year-old Roger Unton on Jan. 20 at the 7-Eleven at 6031 Hohman Ave in Hammond.
The man, whose exact age was not immediately known, was found lying unresponsive on the ground in the 4600 block of West Monroe about 4:50 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the side of the head, according to Chicago Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
