For the third day in the row, demonstrators hit the streets of Chicago on Sunday to protest the fatal police shooting of 18-year-old Paul O'Neal, after city officials released body camera and dashcam videos from the incident.
The weekend's latest homicide happened early Sunday during a birthday party attended by more than 100 people in the University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side.
A large protest expected in Chicago will coincide with demonstrations in other U.S. cities also struggling with police-community relations. CBS 2's Lauren Victory reports.
But the videos showing the police confrontation with Paul O'Neal don't document his fatal shooting, CBS 2 Legal Analyst Irv Miller notes.
Jedidiah Brown said he also heard police telling other officers to turn off their body cameras after Paul O'Neal was shot.
"We just came from watching Chicago police officers execute Paul O'Neal," attorney Michael Oppenheimer said.
Eight days after Chicago police officers shot and killed 18-year-old Paul O'Neal, city officials were set to release dashcam and body camera video of what led up to the shooting.
Police said the shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. at the corner of Belmont and Sheffield avenues.
