The victim was walking east in the 4300 block of West Peterson Avenue, when the man walked up behind her and slapped her on the buttocks, police said. The man then ran away, but as the female proceeded to walk back west, he came back and fondled her genital and breast areas
Monroe Akins, of Steger, has been charged in a string of assaults between March and June in Park Forest, Forest Park, and Richton Park. He allegedly abused six different women and teens beginning in mid-March.
