The judge criticized the plaintiff's lawyers as "unbelievably careless" in the production of exhibits.
Rose surmised that a morning text saying she was "horny" for him had triggered consent from that point on.
Attorney Waukeen McCoy said Rose would be the next witness in the lawsuit seeking $21.5 million in damages.
When Rose entered the courtroom, the woman paused and became emotional while being questioned by her attorney about the events on a night in August 2013.
Opening statements began Wednesday in the woman's $21.5 million federal court lawsuit.
Rose and two friends are accused of gang raping an incapacitated woman whom he once dated.
There are more and more reasons for the Rose civil lawsuit to be settled.
Rose is now facing a civil lawsuit accusing him of rape and a criminal investigation stemming from that August 2013 night.
A judge has ruled Rose's accuser can't remain anonymous, which could change the equation.
The 30-year-old woman has accused Rose and two friends of gang raping her in August 2013.
"I can only imagine how they're going to act when we start winning," Rose says of Knicks fans.
We ignored it for a long time, but Rose is set to go to trial Oct. 4 in a civil suit accusing him and two others of gang rape.
"You should believe in yourself," Rose says.
Rose's quizzical quotes are continuing in New York.
"I will continue to do my best to help this city," Noah writes.
