After losing three of four to the Toronto Blue Jays, the Chicago White Sox are 6-3, including a sweep of the Boston Red Sox. Chicago is slowly digging themselves out of an early season hole, and doing it without production from Adam Dunn or Alex Rios.
Adam Dunn's struggles at the beginning of the season were chalked up the slugger being unfamiliar with American League pitching and the adjustment to being a full-time designed hitter.
With the recently acquired Adam Dunn, Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has a few more options when it comes to setting up his lineup, and whatever the combination it will likely pair Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko.
The competition to be the White Sox closer is one of the biggest topics coming from the team's training camp. And it looks like Matt Thornton might be separating himself from Chris Sale.
Jamie Buehrle, wife of White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle, may have broken the news of her husband's second consecutive Gold Glove award.
All the speculation of whether or not Ozzie would return as manager of the White Sox has been put to bed for some time now. However, the White Sox could be without a different member of the coaching staff come next season.
