Angel L. Calleros, 22, was charged with DUI, two counts of improper lane usage and speeding on Saturday, according to a statement from Riverside police. He also was arrested on the same street on Sept. 5 by the same police officer.
The boy was riding his bicycle in front of his home in the 300 block of Eastgrove Road in Riverside around 5 p.m. Monday, when Cynthia Grosse, of Lyons, struck him in front of his 6- and 11-year-old siblings, according to Riverside Police Chief Tom Weitzel.
Matthew Kallen, 34, was charged with two felony counts of causing death while operating a motor vehicle and four misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle under the influence, according to Hammond police and the Lake County state's attorney's office.
