Joseph Laudicina, 29, whose last known address was in the 1100 block of North Fischer Drive in Addison, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday after being released from Centegra Hospital in Woodstock, according to a statement from Crystal Lake police.
Connita L. Richardson, of the 800 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard, was found dead in an abandoned building in the 700 block of East 7th Avenue in Gary Tuesday night, authorities said.
About 1:15 p.m., Joseph Gaithers, 35, was talking with another person in the 8000 block of South King Drive, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office. The other person pulled out a gun and then shot Gaithers in the head.
