The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday night in Pilsen. Officers responding to a call of shots fired in the 2100 block of West 18th Place at 9:30 p.m. found a 36-year-old man lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the back of the head, police said.
Jermaine Powell, 19 of the 5900 block of West Huron, and Joshua Grayer, 19 of the 1200 block of South Saint Louis, were each charged with first degree murder, according to a police statement.
