The White Sox need multiple players to reach their upper-end projections this season.
Jose Abreu had three hits, and Dioner Navarro had two hits and two RBIs.
"It really hurt, because I had spent so much time in Chicago," Ramirez says.
Austin Jackson could get a lot of playing time in center field for the White Sox.
Jackson hit .267 with nine homers, 48 RBIs and a .696 OPS in 2015.
Carlos Rodon pitched three scoreless innings in an 8-1 win.
Jackson played for Seattle and the Chicago Cubs last season, batting .267 with nine homers and 48 RBIs in 136 games.
The 23-year-old Rodon threw three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit.
There was no nerve damage for LaRoche, who's considered day to day.
For pitchers like Sale, spring training may be just a tad too long.
Adam Eaton went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBIs.
Brett Lawrie and Jason Coats homered off Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer.
Carlos Gonzalez and Jay Bruce could be White Sox targets.
Clayton Kershaw threw two scoreless innings.
The battle for the fourth and fifth starters' jobs will be between Danks, Erik Johnson and Jacob Turner.
