The Chicago Bulls are leading the Central Division, and are one of the most dominant teams in the NBA when playing in the United Center. However, on the road the Bulls have struggled to start games fast and get wins.
If the Bulls want to make a serious run at an NBA Title this season, they're going to have to win games on the road. And that's something they've struggled with this season.
It appears as if Derrick Rose's star continues to rise, even outside of Chicago. In the most recent release of the NBA fan voting for the All-Star game, Rose passed Boston's Rajon Rondo into the staring lineup.
The Charlotte Bobcats had a fierce start facing the Bulls, setting Chicago behind 13 points at the half. The Bulls pushed to gain the lead in the second half, taking a one-point lead in the third period. However, Charlotte stopped the Bulls in their tracks to win 96-91.
Leading up to the 2008 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls had a 1.7% chance of landing the top overall pick. Literally against all odds, the Bulls won that top pick and selected Derrick Rose. The rest, as they say, is history.
Derrick Rose has been a human highlight reel so far this season. The third-year point guard has raised his game to an MVP-caliber level, and brought the Chicago Bulls along with him.
Derrick Rose has stolen the show this season, and so much so that no one could have seen it coming, and no one should look away. Because if you do, you never know what you'll miss.
