15-Year-Old Boy In Critical Condition After Woodlawn Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot in broad daylight in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood Monday afternoon.
The boy was on the sidewalk in the 6600 block of South Langley just before 6 p.m. when a dark colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside started shooting at him, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The teen was shot in the back and taken to Comer Children's Hospital.
Area One detectives are investigating.
