Woman dies after being pulled from Lake Michigan near Chicago's Bronzeville community
A woman died after being pulled from Lake Michigan offshore from the Bronzeville area of Chicago Sunday morning.
At 10:12 a.m., divers from the Chicago Fire Department pulled the woman from the lake near 45th Street, police said.
The woman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Wentworth Area detectives were conducting a death investigation Sunday pending autopsy results.
