Woman Dies After Apartment Fire In Mount Greenwood
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A woman died in an apartment fire in Mount Greenwood Wednesday.
According to police, the 24-year-old woman was found unresponsive on the bedroom floor just before 5 a.m. in the 4000 block of West 115th Street.
Police said a fire had started in the kitchen, where the victim was cooking, and there was heavy smoke.
The woman was taken to Christ Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
