21-year-old shot and killed in Uptown
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed inside a car in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood overnight.
Chicago police said the man was sitting inside a car in the 5100 block of North Winthrop Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. when another man walked up and fired shots.
Police said the 21-year-old was shot in the neck and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition. The man was later pronounced dead.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
