Two Paramedics Hurt In Hit-And-Run Ambulance Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two paramedics were injured Friday morning on the West Side when a motorist struck their ambulance and then fled the area on foot, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The two paramedics were in the 300 block of South Laramie Avenue, en route to a call, when the motorist struck them about 5 a.m., a fire official said.
Two occupants of the car then fled the scene on foot, the official said.
The paramedics were both taken to West Suburban Medical Center in good condition, according to the fire department.
