Toddler Injured In Fall From Window At Lincoln Park Elementary School
(CBS) -- A Lincoln Park elementary school is investigating how a toddler fell from a second story window on Tuesday.
The pre-k student at Oscar Mayer Magnet School was taken to a hospital and has been released.
The three-year-old reportedly landed on a dirt pile from a school chicken coop, which broke his fall.
A CPS spokesperson released a statement saying, "We are currently investigating the situation to ensure safeguards are in place to prevent a similar incident from occurring in the future."
