Thomas Collins, 18, Charged With Robbing Teens On CTA Red Line
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A man has been charged in connection with a string of CTA Red Line robberies involving teens.
According to Chicago police, Thomas Collins, 18, was identified as the man suspected of robbing a 14-year-old on Jan. 8 and a 16-year-old on Jan. 10.
Police said in both Red Line robberies, Collins threatened the victims with a weapon.
Collins, of South Holland, now faces charges including aggravated robbery.
He is expected in bond court on Wednesday.
