SUV Crashes Into Jefferson Park Home, Landing In Basement; Driver Hospitalized
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man drove off the road in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood early Sunday morning, slamming into a house.
Police say his black SUV crashed into the basement near Austin and Sunnyside around 3 a.m.
A woman living there turned down medical attention, but the 31-year-old driver was hospitalized. He was in critical condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Police are investigating what caused him to crash.
