Stolen Vehicle Crashes Into Police Car In Brighton Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- No one was injured when a stolen vehicle crashed into a police car early Thursday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the South Side.

A squad car was chasing a stolen vehicle near 42nd and Sacramento at 12:57 a.m. when the vehicle crashed into the squad car, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said. The vehicle was wanted in connection with a vehicular hijacking.

No injuries were reported in the crash, and no one was in custody in connection with the crash or the carjacking early Thursday.
