(CBS) -- "Spring cleaning" starts Wednesday on Chicago streets
The street sweeping season on Chicago neighborhood streets runs from April 1 through November in all 50 wards of Chicago and drivers must have their cars out of the way or face a fine.

The Department of Streets and Sanitation says temporary parking restrictions are posted the day before a street is scheduled to be swept.
Some streets have permanently posted signs that outline days when parking is prohibited for street sweeping.
