Saint Joseph Catholic School Principal On Administrative Duty After Former Teacher Charged With Child Sex Crimes
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The principal of Saint Joseph Catholic School in Lockport has been placed on administrative duty after a former teacher was charged with child sex crimes.
Joliet police say former teacher Jeremy Hylka had been communicating online with a man posing as a teenage boy and the two reportedly agreed to meet for sex.
The Diocese of Joliet said it is investigating how Hylka was hired at the school without proper teaching credentials.
