Ricketts Working On Extension For Kenney
(CBS) The Cubs are working on a contract extension for embattled President of Business Operations Crane Kenney, Chairman Tom Ricketts told CSN Chicago's David Kaplan.
Kenney has often been criticized for doing more interfering than contributing to the baseball operations of the Cubs, but was retained by Ricketts when former general manager Jim Hendry was fired.
Ricketts also told Kaplan that when it comes to stadium renovations, he is not in favor of knocking down Wrigley Field from foul pole to foul pole.
