(CBS) The Bears have completed their second trade of Monday, dealing linebacker Jon Bostic to the Patriots, according to multiple reports.
Chicago will receive a sixth-round pick in return, according to the Tribune. ESPN first reported the deal.
The Bears' second-round selection in 2013, Bostic was reduced to a reserve role under the 3-4 defense of Vic Fangio. Bostic had sat out the first three games of this season with an ankle injury.
Earlier Monday, Chicago traded linebacker Jared Allen to Carolina in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
The Bears fell 26-0 to the Seahawks on Sunday to drop to 0-3. Chicago hosts Oakland Sunday at Soldier Field.
