Police Asking The Public For Help In The Murder Of Rapper Young Dolph

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A rapper who was born in Chicago was gunned down Wednesday inside a Memphis, Tennessee cookie store.

The owner of the bakery says the 36-year-old had just made a purchase before being shot and killed.

Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thorton Jr., was born here in Chicago. His family moved to Memphis when he was a young boy.

Police haven't said anything about his killer. They're asking the public for help.
