Quinn: State Police Looking Into Airport Disruption

Quinn says it will take an investigation of how a worker set fire at the suburban air traffic control facility before officials can start to talk about how to prevent something like this from happening again.

"Our Illinois state police are on the premises," he said. "Their bomb dogs are being used. It appears that flammable liquid was put on data and communications equipment. Right now, law enforcement is looking at everything, and ultimately the FAA will have to evaluate the damage.

The governor spoke with reporters after a rally of female supporters of his re-election campaign.

Feminist leader Gloria Steinem was supposed to headline the gathering, but her flight to Chicago was canceled because of the fire.
