PAWS Pet of the Week: Katara
CHICAGO (CBS) – It's that time to meet our PAWS Pet of the Week.
Katara is a sweet 5-year-old Terrier mix who loves to be petted. She has the softest fur, and the PAWS volunteers affectionately refer to her as a "velvet potato".
She can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she's devoted to her person. She'd love to nap at your feet while you work from home or greet you at the end of the day.
Katara is a gentle, protective, and communicative girl with a lot of heart. Despite weighing 70 pounds, Katara thinks she's a lap dog and loves to cuddle. Katara is looking for an adults-only home with an adopter to curl up on the couch with and go for long leisurely walks.
