Pair Pulled From Lake Michigan After Boat Tips
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two boaters were plucked out of Lake Michigan on Friday afternoon after their small sailboat tipped over and took on water.
A man and a woman, both believed to be in their 20s, were wearing life vests and were able to swim to nearby boats.
They were also able to tow their small sailboat back to shore.
They were taken back to Jackson Park Harbor, 6400 South Lake Shore Drive.
The incident happened about 300 feet off shore.
The two were not injured and did not require medical treatment.
