One Killed, One Injured In Back Of The Yards Crash
(CBS) -- One person is dead and another injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.
Police say the driver of one the the vehicles was making a U-turn on the 4600 block of South Ashland when it was struck by another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle making the U-turn, a 59-year-old man, was transported to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A passenger from that vehicle is listed in fair condition.
