Obama, Pippen Team Up For Afternoon Basketball

(WSCR) If President Obama is anxious about the results of today's election, he's not showing it.

Around 1 p.m. today, Obama and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen teamed up for a quick pick-up game at Hope Athletic Center on Chicago's West Side with some of Obama's staff and a few friends.

Former Illinois Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias tweeted that he was playing with Obama and former Bulls Pippen and Randy Brown.

They played against a team that included Education Secretary Arne Duncan, former Chicago Bull Randy Brown, and Obama friend Marty Nesbitt.

Obama campaign officials also confirmed White House Assistant Chef Sam Kass and Obama's brother-in-law Craig Robinson played in the game.

Giannoulias said the president's team won by about 20 points.

Although he would not reveal how many points Obama scored, he said the president "played very well." Giannoulias said he scored 32 points himself, while Pippen scored 21.
