Northwest Indiana judge's arrest for drunk driving caught on bodycam video

Bodycam videos shows the arrest of a superior court judge in Northwest Indiana for drunk driving last weekend.

Michigan City police officers pulled over Porter County Superior Court Judge Christopher Buckley on Saturday, Aug. 15, for a traffic stop.

On the video, Buckley refused to stand on one leg and at one point tried to walk away from the officer during the field sobriety test.

He appeared in court and pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated. A judge sentenced Buckley to 180 days of probation and a suspended jail sentence. He also as to attend an alcohol evaluation and treatment program as directed by those administering his probation.
