Naperville Teen Collecting Used Athletic Shoes For 'World Water Day'
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A teen from Naperville is collecting used athletic shoes in honor of "World Water Day."
Lucy Westlake, a sophomore at Naperville North High School, holds a world record for climbing.
She is donating the collected shoes to WaterStep where they will be repurposed into affordable footwear.
Westlake's goal is to collect 200 boxes of donated shoes by March 27.
