Trestman Praises 'Mr. Consistency' Robbie Gould

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Bears coach Marc Trestman talked with Josh Liss on Monday morning about the Bears overtime win against Baltimore.

Trestman was vocal about the play of veteran kicker Robbie Gould, who withstood awful field conditions to nail a game-winning field goal in overtime.

"He's a special guy. He's as familiar with Soldier Field as anyone who has ever played there as a kicker," Trestman said. "He's been Mr. Consistency. We're so grateful to have him on our football team, certainly."

Pushing past several mistakes and a long weather delay, Trestman said he "was really proud of our guys with all the changes that took place."

"It was a great team win in all three phases."

The win left the Bears in first place, tied with Detroit in the conference.

"We have a long, long season ahead," Trestman said
