Man In Custody After Driving Through Chicago Harbor Lock Fence
(STMW) -- Charges are pending against a man who drove his vehicle through a fence early Sunday at the Chicago Harbor Lock on the Near North Side.
Officers responded to a trespassing call just before 5 a.m. in the 100 block of North Streeter Drive, according to Chicago Police. A man, whose age was unknown, drove his vehicle through a fence at the harbor.
At some point, the man got out of his vehicle, but employees asked him to stop and get back into the vehicle over a PA system, police said.
Chicago Police Marine Unit and SWAT officers who responded took the man into custody, police said. Charges were pending Sunday afternoon.
