Man found slashed to death in Chicago's Washington Park
Chicago police were investigating early Sunday after a man was slashed to death the night before in Washington Park.
Police were called at 11:10 p.m. Saturday to 51st Street and Cottage Grove Avenue, after a man was found lying on the ground in the park with a cut to his neck.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
No one was in custody in the incident early Sunday. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.
