Man Critically Wounded In Austin Stabbing

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A suspect is in custody after allegedly stabbing a man during an argument late Tuesday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Just before 10 p.m., a man in his 30s was arguing with a 29-year-old man he lives with in the 1400 block of North Menard when the argument escalated and the 29-year-old grabbed a knife and stabbed him, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. The 29-year-old was taken into police custody.
