One killed in Logan Square fire
One person died Friday afternoon in a fire at a home in the Logan Square neighborhood.
The fire started shortly after 3 p.m. in the 3000 block of West George Street. Chicago Fire Department officials confirmed one person died in the fire, but could not provide any further details.
Chicago Police Department arson detectives were seen at the building after the fire was extinguished, but police did not immediately respond to requests for further information.
