Latino Students Plug Into STEM Projects Developing Solar Suitcases
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Some Latino students are shedding light on Hispanic Heritage Month with a learning project.
Dozens of students spent the weekend building solar suitcases. The portable devices can provide electricity for several hours.
The project, sponsored by ComEd, is also a way for students to get excited about STEM careers. That's science, technology, engineering and math.
