July Hits Another Record For Recreational Marijuana Sales
CHICAGO (CBS) -- July was another record month for recreation marijuana sales in Illinois -- likely boosted by Lollapalooza.
Illinois dispensaries sold more than $127 million worth of cannabis products last month.
Of that, $42 million was sold to out of state residents, which is 16% higher than in June.
So far this year, recreations weed has brought in $753 million to the state, more than all of 2020.
