ICNA Relief annual back-to-school giveaway held in Rogers Park
A back-to-school event held in Rogers Park helped get students ready to head back into the classroom.
Community leaders passed out more than 600 backpacks to immigrant, migrant, and refugee children.
The giveaway took place at Caldwell Woods Wellness Center on Devon Avenue.
It was part of ICNA Relief Chicago's annual giveaway.
Officials say more than 46,000 migrants have made Chicago home since 2022.
