Hundreds Attend CPD Recruitment Event On NW Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Despite the scrutiny Chicago Police officers face these days, hundreds attended a police recruitment event.
Men and women packed the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance Center on the city's Northwest Side in hopes of learning more about becoming a Chicago Police officer.
Potential candidates got a chance to talk to current officers in different units.
People who are interested must live in Chicago. The deadline to apply is January 31.
